D.J. has been involved in the triathlon world for 15 years and running for 20 years. He has competed in 100 triathlons, 3 ironmans, and other various distance races. He has also competed in at least 100 road races from 5k to marathons.

*USA triathlon all-American and honorable mention all-American 10 times. *Regional all-American 10 times.

*In 2006 was selected to the Best of the US triathlon race in Minnesota. *Since 2000 has won 10 regional triathlons.

*Level I USA track and field Certification completed December 2007.
