Athlete Profile: David Ziker - DZ

USA Triathlon News

Dave Ziker "DZ"

Age: 52

President:  Ziker Dry Cleaning

Married with 2 daughters,

DZ started with Innovative Endurance back in 2004 with very limited cycling and running experience. Since then he has successfully completed many races from the sprint all the way to the half-ironman distance. Dave's enjoys the competition and training but also try's to keep his life balanced with work and family. Dave has pr'd every year and continues to see improvements in his watts testing and running performance. Dave's favorite sport is the bike where he likes to "bring the heat". He would rather ride his beautiful 15 pound Orbea but usually agrees to use the powertap even though its a bit more weight. Dave can't always race as much as he would like, but he exemplifies the spirit of fun in training and creating a healthy lifestyle. It is rare that you meet up for a workout with DZ that he isn't smiling. Way to go DZ, bust em up at Steelhead this year!
